The Engineering Research Center is getting a $2.5 million renovation over the next 18 months. The College of Engineering will pay for the project over the next four years with research incentive funds.
Twenty percent of the funds designated for the renovation will be used to reallocate lab and office space to make room for three new faculty labs. The rest will be used to improve the electrical systems in the building, add more safety features and increase security.
